A Ritz Carlton is due to open in Herceg Novi, the first by the luxury hotel operator in Montenegro. “Although we are a small country, we have a lot to offer, which is confirmed by the operations of some of the world’s leading hotel brands such as Hilton, Amman, Ridge, and Four Points by Sheraton,” said Olivera Brajović, the country’s General Director of the Directorate for Development of Competitiveness and Investment in Tourism. She said that 25 hotels opened in the country last year, 13 of which were 4-star hotels. “Our coastline is decorated with world hotel brands, but our goal is to have a similar situation in the north in a few years,” she said.
