The first residential building in Sofia to receive a BREEAM certificate is Izgrev Residential, located in the eastern part of Sofia, in the Iztok neighborhood. Stephen George International was responsible for the architectural design, while the implementation of the project was overseen by Mirat Group. Construction work started a month ago and will be completed by the end of this year.
The residential building consists of 28 apartments with five levels (above ground) along with a terraced floor. Izgrev Residential was designed according to the requirements of sustainable development and environmental demands of the BREEAM certification regime.
