AmRest Holding SE is planning to open the first Starbucks cafe in Belgrade later this year. AmRest, the largest restaurant operator in Central Europe, has been expanding its Starbuck chain across the region over the last decade. It opened the first Starbucks’ location in Prague in 2008. Starbucks is now present in Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. Starbucks has more than 28,000 cafes worldwide.
