The land border between Portugal and Spain will remain closed after May 14, with no date set for its reopening. The border has been closed since March 16 save for nine authorized crossings, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But while the land border is closed, the first flights from Portugal to other countries will be renewed on May 14.
TAP will continue operating flights during May between Lisbon and Porto with three flights a week from May 18 until the end of the month, while the route to Madeira will be strengthened from two to three flights per week. The airline has also scheduled two flights per week to Sao Paul and two weekly flights to Rio de Janeiro. TAP is also operating flights to London Heathrow and Paris but flights to Brussels and Geneva are still banned.
