According to data from the Naples Area Board of Realtors, home prices jumped 14 percent in January compared to a year before, with a median price of $425,000. Home prices in both the high end and lower end of the market were up significantly, with those costing less than $300,000 rising 26 percent to $239,000 while homes above $2 million rose 13 percent with a median price of $3.6 million. The median price of an existing condo in the Naples area was also up 5 percent to $278,000 when compared with January 2015. Inventory in Naples for January rose 13 percent to 5,091 homes from 4,515 homes in January 2015 with each home remaining on the market for an average of 75 days, a 13 percent fall from the 87 day average in January 2015.
