Florida mortgage payment numbers rising

According to a report from Black Knight Financial Services, home mortgage repayment figures are improving. The report states the delinquency rates fell below 5 percent for the first time since the summer of 2007, a substantial fall from 14.72 percent last year. The percentage of homeowners prepaying their loans was up almost 40 percent month-on-month and up 103 percent from March of 2014. Foreclosure rates remained low at 1.55 percent with just 94,100 homes starting the foreclosure process according to the report. On a another positive note for Florida, mortgage delinquencies in the state were down 18.97 percent.
