Florin Cîţu resigned from the leadership of the PNL party. “I did not have the chance to talk to my colleagues, unfortunately they did not want to attend the meeting. It is a pity that PNL shows today that it does not respect the status”, said Cîţu. He said that if the PSD coalition had not existed, it would most likely have remained in the party’s leadership. “This coalition with the PSD for me was not a natural thing, it was difficult to digest,” he added.
Asked if he is resigning from the Senate, Florin Cîţu answered: “No. There are other discussions, we will see what happens there too”.
