Flow East scheme on Wenceslas Sq. under scrutiny again

23 April 2012

Flow East project of a glazed mix use commercial building at the corner of Wenceslas and Opletalova is being scrutinized once again. This time, the developer will have to deal not only with the Club for old Prague, but with the new Czech ministry of culture Alena Hanáková. The minister, who took over her post in January, is gradually revisiting the decisions of her predecessor and Wenceslas 47 has come into her sites. The ministry announced that it re-started the process to declare the building a historical monument, which may force the developer into a further round in the prolonged battle. Until the decision has been made, the building must be treated as a monument. Flow East indicated recently it was close to signing a major pre-lease for the space.
