FORD expands in China

American automobile giant Ford revealed its plans to expand its business in China with USD 760m to be invested in the construction of a new production center in the city of Hangzhou. The investment is expected to increase the production to 250,000 cars annually. The grand opening of the new factory has been scheduled for 2015. It’s the fourth production facility the company plans to develop in the country, following the construction of a new factory recently launched in Southwest China.
