The number of foreigners purchasing holiday homes and apartments in Romania’s Prahova Valley increased last year, according to data from several real estate agencies in the area.
Many of those who have already completed a transaction chose the Sinaia mountain resort (37 percent) and the Predeal resort (32 percent), with the majority buying two-room flats or studios, rather than stand alone homes. Statistically, one in ten buyer of such homes in the region was a foreigner.
