Forte Partners claim two prizes at HOF Awards 2019

The Romanian developer Forte Partners has picked up two prizes at the HOF Awards 2019, which were held at the Marriott Hotel in central Prague. One of the most powerful players on the Romanian market, the company won in the Investment Transaction category, for the deal that saw its Bucharest office project The Bridge acquired by Fratii Paval. In addition, CEO Geo Margescu was honored in front of an international audience as the winner of the Leading Leadership in Real Estate.
The Bridge, an 80,000 sqm scheme, received the highest LEED Platinum scorecard certification awarded by US Green Building Council (USGBC) for a Romanian property. The project attracted major tenants like BCR and IBM to its first phase in 2017 enabling it to achieve a market value of €85m.
Geo Margescu is the co-founder and CEO of Forte Partners, and has 18 years of experience specializing in development management and construction. He has developed several landmark industrial, office and residential projects in Romania, which have been recognized and awarded internationally.
The HOF Awards brings together top real estate professionals and teams from around Central & Eastern Europe who compete in over 30 categories for the honor to be called the Best of the Best. Each year, nominations are taken from the winners of the CIJ Awards, a series of property events held in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Slovakia.
The HOF Awards are organized by Roberts Publishing Media Group, publishers of the region’s leading property magazine, CIJ, and organizers of major property conferences as well as the CIJ Awards series throughout CEE.
