Forton: 70,000 sqm of new offices in Bulgaria in 2016

The new year will bring change to Bulgaria’s real estate market, according to Forton, a strategic partner of Cushman & Wakefield in Bulgaria and Macedonia. Investors are being drawn especially to high quality, undervalued office buildings that have leased successfully in Sofia. The country’s competitive advantage is the higher yield that investors can achieve through investments in local real estate. In all, 70,000 sqm of new office space should be completed in 2016.

Take up over the past two years has exceeded 130,000 sqm gross, with over 80,000 sqm considered net take up. The most important new projects are Blu Offices, SPS Tower and Kambanite Green Offices.
