The developer Forty Management has completed the Lagoon Park Bucharest project, the first artificial urban beach in Europe, following an investment of EUR 33 million. The complex will be located on Strada Coralilor no. 18, in sector 1 of the Capital, near Petrom City.
“Lagoon Park Bucharest is the first artificial urban beach in a European capital. The project means the transformation of a former abandoned industrial platform of 40,000 sqm into a green urban oasis, which includes a turquoise lagoon of 10,000 sqm with an average depth of 2 meters, 11,000 sqm of white sand beaches, 1,150 sunbeds, 2 restaurants, 280 public parking spaces and countless other facilities,” explains Lucian Azoiţei, CEO of Forty Management.
In 2023, the company started work on the Central District Lagoon City, a project that will include over 400 apartments strictly for rent, bio and service spaces and a hotel, next to the artificial lagoon located in the center of the complex.
