The investor expects to build four apartment buildings with 56 apartments 1 4 + kk. Residents should also be served by 62 underground parking spaces,” said Mayor Robert Stržínek (YES).
The city management with the city architect and the investor’s representatives presented the winning project to the citizens. “We used state-of-the-art technology in the form of artificial intelligence to design and select the most suitable urban solution to ensure the same perspective and lighting conditions. We placed great emphasis on ecology. The total built-up area is only 1,200 square meters and another 4,500 square meters including roofs. is dedicated to greenery,” said the author of the project Rudolf Müller. After signing the contract with the city, the new apartment buildings in Štěpánov should stand within six years at the latest.
The project was also evaluated by the Valašské Meziříčí city architect. “Our task is to oversee the level of construction in Valašské Meziříčí with an emphasis on the development of quality of life of citizens. The winning project offers a modern and very sensitive connection of new development with the existing housing estate. “These are investment apartments, but there is also space for living here for young families,” said Sara Al-Wahaishi from the Chybík + Krištof studio.
Citizens who took part in the public presentation of the project were interested in, for example, parking and the possibility of expanding capacities. “In the presented proposal, we envisage 62 underground parking spaces primarily for residents of new apartment buildings. In view of the discussion, we perceive the need to expand their number. Our aim is to create a project that will suitably complement the existing locality, without doing so at the expense of greenery or, for example, worsening the traffic situation,” said the investor’s representative Robert Švec.
