The Four Seasons Hotel in Prague is up for sale by Avestus Real Estate, which is hoping to get €80m for the riverside landmark. Ivan Chadima, a representative of the Irish investor, told the website idnes.cz that the economic difficulties in Ireland are behind the move. Avestus off-loaded the Four Seasons in Budapest last year for €75m. On offer, along with the real estate, is a long-term management contract with the Canadian hotel chain Four Seasons, which should ensure that the operation of the hotel would remain unaffected. The 141 room hotel hotel consists of four building, including a modern building owned by Avestus and three historical buildings leased from the city on a hundred year lease.
