Freeman Expositions signs lease at Bent Oak Industrial Park

28 October 2015

Bent Oak Industrial Park’s Phase 2 has signed its first big tenant, trade show and convention marketing company Freeman Expositions. The pre-lease will be for 451,823 square feet of space in the 1.3 million-square-foot development, located at 1602 W Taft Vineland Rd near the Florida’s Turnpike in southwest Orlando. Construction of the facility is scheduled by year’s end.

Bent Oak is a joint venture between West Palm Beach-based McCraney Property Co. and New York-based Clarion Partners. Matt Sullivan of Cite Partners represented the landlord in the lease deal, while Tom McCarthy, Joe Hills and Josh Lipoff of JLL represented the tenant. The first building of Phase 1, a 703,920 sq ft warehouse, is nearly fully leased.

“In spite of the tremendous activity McCraney Property has experienced this year, there continues to be pent-up demand as the market remains at single-digit vacancy with Bent Oak as the premier industrial site in Central Florida,” said Sullivan, managing director and principal of Cite Partners.
