Shortly after the official opening, Hamburg-based project developer Ixocon has sold the Fresch23 production and logistics property in Eschbach near Freiburg to technology provider Avnet Embedded. Ixocon was advised on the transaction by Logivest Stuttgart GmbH. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Over the past one and a half years, Ixocon has realised the state-of-the-art new building to BEG 40 EE standard on a plot of around 33,000 square metres in the Breisgau business park. The official opening of the property, which is characterised above all by its energy efficiency, took place at the beginning of November.
“We have supported the project over the past two years – from the search for a plot of land and the start of construction to the handover and sale. I would like to thank Ixocon, Avnet and everyone involved for their excellent cooperation,” says Nikolai Windhäuser, Managing Director of Logivest Stuttgart GmbH.
The property comprises a building area of around 18,800 square metres, divided into a two-storey production area with 8,300 square metres, a logistics hall with 7,500 square metres and an upstream office building with 3,000 square metres.
Since its completion in June 2023, the property has been used entirely by Avnet Embedded itself.
