FRP Development Corp. has signed a 26,000 sqf lease with Atlantic Lift Truck for an industrial warehouse in Baltimore. The facility features 19-foot ceilings, six dock-high doors and one ramped drive-in doors at 3051 Washington Blvd. Atlantic plans to move its used equipment, rental, warehouse concepts and operator certification departments into the new property by June 2016.
According to Transwestern research, Flex/industrial market vacancy rate in the Baltimore metro area was 7.8 percent as of March 2016, down from 8.1 percent at year-end 2015. During first-quarter of 2016, net absorption for the Baltimore flex/industrial submarket accounted for 27 percent of the total absorption in the Baltimore metro flex/industrial market.
