Fuget applies for Kaunas office building permit

4 July 2018

Fuget have applied for a permit to build a 10,000 sqm office building in central Kaunas. The building, which will be erected on a 3,000 sqm plot of land on Karaliaus Mindaugo avenue, will likely be built by the Finnish construction firm YIT Kausta. Fuget and YIT have not yet released plans for the project while Fuget CEO Romualdas Svitojus refused to comment further on the plans for the site. In June 2017 Fuget was taken over by the company KM35, which is owned by EE Capital Partnership UK. The Arka office building was completed earlier this year on Karaliaus Mindaugo avenue, while the Magnum office complex is currently under construction in an adjacent plot. In fact, at the moment, more office space is being built in Kaunas than in the larger Baltic capitals of Tallinn and Riga.
