Further discount for Sava Center sale

1 October 2020

After the recent unsuccessful sale of the Sava Center, the Deputy Mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesić, says that a decision will be made this week whether to use the legal possibility and lower the price for the sale of the Sava Center by another 20%. The decision on that is made by the city commission and this is the last reduction of prices for this facility.

The sale of the Sava Center was announced in November last year. The city started looking for a partner for the first time in 2016, when a public call for the establishment of a joint company was announced.
A new public call was announced at the end of 2017, and the partners were expected to renovate the congress and general infrastructure of the center. The city and Delta Holding started direct negotiations in the middle of 2018, which were unsuccessful, and soon the news arrived that a concessionaire would be sought for the Sava Center. No bids were received in the previous tender announced in August this year.
