After nearly three years of negotiation, Chinese company RiseSun and the leadership of southern Moravia seem to have agreed on the construction of a CZK 1.8bn health resort project in the town of Prasohlávky. But none of the sides have put pen to paper to seal the deal and some of the Czech politicians involved are concerned about losing control over the project, according to the server MfDnes. The town and the region hold a 25 percent stake, having invested CZK 500m in the scheme, while RiseSun controls the remainder.
A decision is expected on Jan. 15, when politicians are to vote on the matter. The ANO party appears to be in favor of the project going ahead, while TOP 09 is considering selling the property.
