GARBE Industrial Real Estate is further expanding its activities in France and Italy. Lionel Nicolas (49) has been appointed the new Managing Director France and Italy at GARBE since the beginning of February and is responsible for investment and asset management in these countries. In addition, the experienced real estate expert is responsible for the further development of the locations. For this purpose, GARBE opened a new office in the French capital Paris at the beginning of February.
Lionel Nicolas has more than two decades of experience in the French and Italian real estate markets. Before joining GARBE, he worked for a leading German investment manager for around six years, where he is responsible for the company’s French and Italian activities and transactions from Paris. Before that, the law graduate was Managing Director of Savills IM France. His other professional positions also include Macquarie Bank and Grosvenor Continental Europe.
Investment manager Faycal Idelcadi has also been new to the Paris location since the beginning of February. Like Lionel Nicolas, he worked for a leading German investment manager before GARBE and was responsible for pan-European logistics investments for a good two years. Before that, he worked as an analyst for PwC, Amundi and Société Générale, among others.
