LandSouth Construction broke ground on a multifamily property in Port St. Lucie, southern Florida. The $30m project, Gatlin Commons, is being developed by PRM Gatlin/Port St. Lucie Owner LLC and Rosser Aledo Partners LLC. Plans call for six three-story buildings designed by James S. Carr AIA & Associates. The 15-acre site is located at the corner of SW Aledo Lane and SW Rosser Boulevard, 10 minutes from downtown Port St. Lucie and 15 minutes to the area’s beaches. The 200-unit scheme will include a 5,800 sq ft clubhouse with a fitness center, community pool area, dog park, tot lot and basketball court.
“James S. Carr AIA & Associates has done an excellent job of creating a dynamic look and design,” said Joe Passkiewicz, senior vice president of development at LandSouth Construction. “With remarkable amenities and a superb location, we believe Gatlin Commons will become one of the most popular upscale apartment addresses in Port St. Lucie.”
