The French gas supplier and distributor GDF Suez Energy Romania will use RON 65.9m of European Union funds (around €14m) in order to build 70.4 km of new medium pressure gas pipes in Bucharest. With this addition, the company will have extended the total modernized network to 395.7 km.
GDF Suez has 1.4 million clients across Romania, while its gas distribution arm Distrigaz Sud Retele operates a network of 17,000 km in 18 counties in Southern Romania and Bucharest.
