Hungarian companies could end up buying natural gas from three companies at a price of HUF 2.3bn beginning in 2013. The new contracts just signed by the government are expected to save HUF 500m.Three tenders were announced, the biggest one, for 16.4 million m3 of natural gas was won by the French company GDF Suez Energy ltd with a HUF 1.95 bn bid. Other applicants were Magyar Telekom, Tigáz, MOL, Főgáz and E.on.
