General Electric’s Hungarian aviation unit opened a production hall in Veresegyház. The new facility, covering 4,600 sqm of space, will add more than 25 jobs to the local labor market. Investment costs totaled HUF 1.7bn. An additional HUF 1.1bn was invested into machinery and technology for the site. The US company plans to establish an aviation research center in Veresegyház, its fourth research center in Hungary.
