Hungarian drugmaker Gedeon Richter finalized the acquisition of the Swiss fertility treatment company Finox Holding. The purchase price for the Finox shares amounted to CHF 190m. Through this acquisition, Gedeon Richter obtained the global rights for Bemfola, Finoxʼs biosimilar therapy used for infertility treatments. Gedeon Richter is hoping to widen its core Women’s Healthcare franchise and further emphasize its commitment to the biosimilar business.
