German Deka acquires Quadrum BC in Vilnius for EUR 156.1m

14 October 2019

Schage Eiendom has sold the Quadrum BC building in Vilnius, the largest office transaction in the history of the Baltics, to Deka Immobilien. Schage was advised by Newsec in the deal, which is expected to close within two months, subject to Competition Authority approval. The acquisition is Deka’s third in Lithuania. The 44,000 sqm business center is located in central Vilnius and is anchored by Blackston and DNB/Nordea-owned Luminor, a major Baltic retail bank. And additional 35 companies occupy the remaining 70 percent of the building. “Quadrum is the first such centre in the country to have been designed and built according to BREEAM international standard for sustainable buildings,” said Kjetil T. Hanssen, CEO of Schage in Lithuania. Deka already owns two shopping centers in the country: Akropolis SC in Kaunas and BIG SC in Vilnius.
