Ghelamco appoints JLL to lease The Warsaw Hub

9 December 2016

Having revised the idea for its next large-scale investment in Warsaw’s Wola district, Ghelamco has appointed JLL as its exclusive agency for its scheme The Warsaw Hub, known as Sienna Towers. Jarosław Zagórski, Ghelamco’s Business Development Director says the company has officially started marketing the 113,000 sqm project, which is expected to cost more than PLN 1bn. The updated design envisions three buildings, the first of which will be a 3- and 4-star hotel. Representing about 20-percent of the scheme, the hotel component will have a direct connection to the underground metro-line. Ghelamco did not reveal the brand name under which the hotel will operate.

The project’s two other buildings will offer office space (with retail components), a conference center, along with a fitness center and a start-up-dedicated concepts, like the Heart of Warsaw, which will re-locate from Ghelamco’s Warsaw Spire, taking up between 1,500 sqm and 3,000 sqm of offices. Additionally, Ghelamco is to bring its MeetDistrict co-working concept to the project. Zagórski expects the project to attract IT/SSC tenants thanks to the complex’s direct access to public transport. The project is located at the corner of Towarowa and Prosta streets.
