Ghelamco secured financing for its most recent project in Łódź from mBank, for whom it’s building a new HQ building. The two loans are for PLN 144.5m (€32.47m) and PLN 8.5m. The investment is worth nearly PLN 100m. The new office building is part of the Nowe Centrum Łodzi scheme, which will neighbor a project by EC1 and the city’s main railway station. Ghelamco is reportedly partnering with Budomal on the project. The bank’s new headquarters along with Skanska’s Brama Miasta office project (now under construction) at Nowe Centrum Łodzi, will add a total of 80,000 sqm of office space to the Łódź market.
Ghelamco has already selected the local builder Erbud to oversee the construction.
