The 12th annual CIJ Awards Poland were held at the Westin Hotel in downtown Warsaw on Oct. 30 by CIJ, Central and Eastern Europe’s leading real estate magazine. The CIJ Awards are aimed at developers, their projects and their service providers in the commercial and residential real estate sector. On the basis of online voting by select CIJ readers and a panel of independent judges, Ghelamco Poland was named Office Developer of the Year.
Ghelamco Poland has been one of the top developers and general contractors on the Polish real estate market for the last 22 years and is an unquestionable leader in sustainable building in the country. The company specializes in delivering high-quality office buildings, with more than 500,000 sqm delivered to date. Its sales have exceeded €1bn. Ghelamco Poland is a part of the European Ghelamco Group. Apart from various office projects, the developer’s wide portfolio also includes warehouses, logistics parks and high-standard residential investments, constructed under the Ghelamco Residential brand. In 2013, Ghelamco delivered almost 60,000 sqm of modern office space and has another 100,000 sqm under construction. The company recently concluded two major investment sales, totaling €241m.
