Sunrise based GL Homes has purchased 242.5 acres of farmland west of Boyton Beach for $17.52 million ($72,247 an acre) at Sunbeam Mountain Terrace and Acme Daily Road. The land was sold by Richard and Kim Amestoy, having last sold for $3.6 million in 2003. It sits just south of the GL Homes Valencia Cove community, which led all new Palm Beach County single-family communities with 316 home starts and 135 move-ins during 2014.
