The Italian company GLM is planning new investments in Zrenjanin. GLM produces exhaust systems for Dacia, Nissan, Renault, Mercedes and other vehicles. The company will hire between 150 to 350 new employees as part of an expansion in the town. Initial outlays are epxected to total €8.5m with further investment expected. In August, GLM rented production space in Zrenjanin that used to belong to company Minel. Currently GLM employs 45 people that work in 3 shifts producing automobile components that are exported to Belgium, France and Germany. GLM arranges staff training on new machinery for staff that takes place in Italy.
