Globalworth Poland Real Estate has acquired Katowice’s Silesia Star and the Wrocław Retro Office House from LC Corp. Silesia Star is an A-class property composed of two buildings offering 27,000 sqm of total floor area. Located in central Katowice, the property is anchored by the European R&D center for Mentor Graphics. Silesia Star was sold for €54.3m. Retro Office House is located in central Wrocław and offers 21,000 sqm GLA. The building’s tenants include a shared services center for Olympus’s European, Middle East and Africa operations. The cost of the building is €58.8m. “We want to improve and enlarge our offering for the tenants and communities of our buildings in regional cities by adding high-quality property to our portfolio,” said said Łukasz Duczkowski, Investments Director at Globalworth Poland. “Retro Office House and Silesia Star are modern, office buildings with great locations in Wrocław and Katowice. They are a great addition to our Polish portfolio, now comprising 21 properties with 560,000 sqm of total floor area.”
