Globalworth properties have switched to 100% green energy from renewable sources, the company said. Globalworth owns 22 office and retail properties in Poland with a total leasable area of over 600,000 sqm. From this year on, they all use green energy that comes fully from renewable sources such as hydro, wind and solar farms, it said.
“Sustainability and the ecology are extremely important to Globalworth and are part of our business strategy. We take environmental issues very responsibly. Therefore, we attach great importance to where the electricity used by our buildings comes from. I am more than happy to announce this. that all our properties from the beginning of this year are powered only by green energy, which will allow us to significantly reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions “- said Maciej Kamiński, head of property & facility management at Globalworth Poland.
