Prologis completed a new build-to-suit project at Prologis Park Prague-Jirny. The new facility, offering 29,000 sqm of warehouse space, was built for an existing clients – hypermarket operator Globus. The opening ceremony on the final day of May was attended by Werner Eberhart, Globus logistics manager, Ben Bannatyne, managing director for Prologis Central & Eastern Europe and Martin Polak, Prologis vice president and market officer for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The newly delivered building is BREEAM certified. Currently, Globus occupies over 60,000 sqm at Prologis Park Prague-Jirny, comprising 31,212 sqm of space in DC3 and 28,916 sqm in newly opened DC7.
