Gloria Jeans company has moved its headquarters from Rostov-on-Don to Moscow. The retailer rented 3,500 sqm of office space in Arma in Nizhny Susalsky Alley, says Gloria Jeans founder and owner Vladimir Melnikov.
The rent will cost the company 87.5 million RUB. By the end of 2016, Gloria Jeans plans to expand its office to 5,000 sqm and to double that by the end of 2017.
In 2014 Gloria Jeans, had planned to shift its headquarters to Hong Kong and it hasn’t given up on the idea, so the move to Moscow could yet turn out to be just a first step in the process. The Hong Kong office would handle the development of the retailer’s Asian business, while top management, marketing and sales staff would operate out of Moscow.
