GLP will develop a new logistics centre in Upper Silesia. The 37,000 sqm unit marks the first phase of development and is part of a scheme to develop over 110,000 sqm of warehouse space in Ledziny, each with direct access to the S1 Expressway. The development comes six months since GLP launched its operations in Central Europe and will be one of the most advanced projects of its kind in Poland. GLP has already leased part of the space in the unit that is due to complete in mid-2021. The general contractor of the project is CFE. “Upper Silesia is one of the most significant logistics and industrial markets in Poland. We recognise its potential and as a result of this we are expanding our offering in the region through a series of upcoming developments,” said Marcin Zuchniewicz, Business Development Manager at GLP Poland.
