Golub GetHouse and Mennica begin Warsaw’s next landmark tower

25 October 2016

Construction on a new office tower in Warsaw kicked off this month in the district of Wola, with the developer Golub GetHouse joining forces with the Polish investor Mennica to develop Mennica Legacy Tower. The partners have already selected Warbud as general contractor for the scheme and gave the builder 33 months to complete it. The first phase of the project, the 10-storey building, is due by the fourth quarter of 2018, while a 33-meter tower is to be delivered in the third quarter of 2019. Mennica is expected to earn a BREEAM Excellent certificate. This CBD’s landmark development will add a total of 65,000 sqm of lettable space and 4,500 sqm of retail.

Last year, Golub exited Prime Corporate Center, completed in Warsaw’s CBD. The sale transaction pushed Warsaw’s benchmark yield down to below 5.25 percent.
