Goodman sealed a substantial deal with Grupa Muszkieterów this month. The developer will expand the operator’s warehouse operations in Poznań and take over its real estate portfolio. The portfolio includes part of Grupa Muszkieterów’s land banks as well as its existing projects. Grupa Muszkieterów said the portfolio deal was the main reason behind the company’s decision to give the warehouse expansion contract to Goodman. “By taking our portfolio, Goodman has beaten the competition,” said Philippe Jammes of ITM Polska, which represents the group in Poland.
The Poznań contract will add 73,872 sqm of warehouse and office space to the operator’s existing facility. The contract also includes construction of a new 8,513 sqm office building, which will serve as the company’s new headquarters. Goodman said it expects to deliver the project at the beginning of 2015, after starting construction this month. The lease agreement for the office space has reportedly already been signed for 10 years.
