Google has moved into its new headquarters in London’s St. Pancras Square in a building that it’s leasing from BNP Paribas Real Estate. Around 800 staff have moved into the modern complex and it is expected that 2,000 more people are to move in by the end of the year. Staff in the new offices are to work on some of Google’s most popular products such as Android and YouTube. Although only 5 of the 11 floors are furnished, there are plans for a 90m running track, sleep pods will be available for staff and food will be given to them for free including the option of going to cookery classes with a chef that used to work with Jamie Oliver.
