Moodys’ decision to increase Poland’s short-term dept rating Prime-1 has been praised by Polish official, who now claim that Poland is on the right track. “We are pleased with the decision, and think it means that Poland is on the right track as far as improving and consolidating its credibility is concerned,” Finance Minister Jacek Rostkowski said in Brussels. Poland’s A2 long-term rating has also stable prospects. Rostowski believes that the country’s long-term debt rating will also be increased once Poland carries out necessary reforms.
