29 January 2013

The Hungarian government signed a new strategic agreement Nokia-Siemens. Economics Minister György Matolcsy secured the cooperation with Nokia’s managing director, Robert Esik. Matolcsy said the move will help the government double the Hungarian economic output by 2015. In order to achieve this goal, Hungary has to triple its export activities. He added that the government is seeking to establish partnerships with several companies which could help the country become a regional innovation center, making Nokia an obvious partner to target.
