The Supervisory Board of OMEGA Immobilien Kapitalverwaltungs AG has appointed Achim Gräfen to the Executive Board of the capital management company. As CIO, Gräfen will be responsible for business development, making involved in designing, fundraising for and managing real estate special AIFs. He will be responsible for the business of OMEGA Immobilien KVG with the other Executive Board members Martin Herkenrath, Gert von Borries and Eduard Gonçalves. Gräfen has done similar work for the past years in numerous jurisdictions. Gräfen was previously Managing Director of DIC Fundbalance GmbH. Previously, the graduate geographer held leadership positions at he capital management and real estate investment companies 6B47 Group, Vienna, AXA Investment Managers and WestInvest (Deka).
Achim Gräfen indicated the reasons for his decision: “I am convinced that OMEGA Immobilien’s approach of integrated investment and real estate management gives it an excellent foundation from which to offer our investors added qualitative value and thus to establish itself as a provider of closed-ended real estate special AIFs. In this way, even new investors can participate directly in the real estate expertise of OMEGA Immobilien Group. I am pleased to promote this goal starting immediately using my expertise.”
