Grand Peaks Properties acquires Sundance Village for $65.5m

Grand Peaks Properties acquired an apartment complex near Florida International University in Sweetwater for $65.6m. The property, Sundance Village, features 304 units. Built in 1988 on a 16.5-acre site, the property changed hands for just under $215,790 per unit. The sellers, Manuel and Jorge Larrieu and Nitza Gonzalez, bought the complex in 1997 for $7.2m. Grand Peaks Properties has 32 properties, valued at $2bn, in its portfolio.
