The Grande Gloria Production group, which operates seven factories in the Vânători commune of Galati county, wants to obtain state aid in 2024 for a packaging factory, a project that it estimated in the first phase at EUR 12 million, according to Georgiana Mocanu , executive director of Grande Gloria Production.
“We had a business plan for approximately EUR 12 million for a new production facility, complete with machinery. Now let’s see how viable it will be in 2024 when the guidelines come out. This is the investment worth because we also need a new hall. The land already exists and has been cleared, also here in Galati county, a maximum of 2 kilometers from where we are now. It has all the necessary utilities and access to the national road”, Georgiana Mocanu said.
“In addition to what we produce domestically, we buy from Poland, from Germany and they could be manufactured here. We somehow have this obsession with production in Romania and when we feel a need, even if it is within the group, we do the calculations to see how we can produce and where we could expand,” she added.
