Greece’s Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced a full lockdown effective Monday morning from 6 a.m. which was aimed at curbing the further spread of the coronavirus. Under the new rule, only those going to or from their workplace or shopping for food and medicines should be out and about. People would also be allowed to take short walks as well or to visit their physician and they will also be allowed to carry out certain banking transactions or to deal with serious family obligations.
