Scott Thurman has joined Greystone as senior managing director and chief underwriter within the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) lending team. In his new role, Thurman will focus on multifamily, affordable and healthcare property transactions, as well as further streamlining the FHA underwriting process. Prior to joining Grestone, Thurman worked at ACRE Capital where he held a similar position and served as deputy & chief underwriter at CWCapital. Thurman’s started his career at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), where he served as multifamily a housing representative for nearly a decade.
“Scott will play a key role in furthering Greystone’s mission to become the easiest lender in the country to work with and the easiest lender in the country to work for,” said Mordecai Rosenberg, head of Greystone’s FHA lending business.
