Griffin Group started renovation work on Warsaw’s Hala Koszyki property, which it bought from the company Avestus several months ago. Avestus had planned to develop three office buildings, with a total area of 10,000 sqm, as well as retail units and 160 high-end flats. Griffin also plans to add some new office and retail space to the project through the revitalization.
There will be a delicatessen store planned for the first floor of the building, along with service units and a two-floor underground parking garage. The ground floor of the building will house restaurants, coffee shops and art galleries. Located in the capital’s Sródmieście district, the building is 100 years old. After acquiring Hala Koszyki in 2006, Avestus Real Estate demolished the existing production hall, leaving just two of the original gates.
