Grifid Hotels, owned by Grigor Fidanov, has acquired the Obzor and Sunrise hotels in Bulgaria’s Golden Sands for €15.8m. The transaction means that Fidanov is now the biggest hotelier on the northern Bulgarian coast. Hermes Tour sold him the hotels.
Grifid Hotels already owns four hotels in the Golden Sands. “We were interested in hotels on the beach, in a quiet part of the Golden Sands” said Fidanov.
The main customers for the Grifid chain come from Germany, Belgium, France, Luxembourg and from Scandinavia.
